BRILLIANT WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 OCTAGON RIFLE W/ FACTORY LETTER CIRCA 1901. Early production with case colored lever and hammer. .25-20 WCF caliber 24” octagon barrel and full length magazine. 100% original and as shipped from the factory with no later changes, alterations or additions. Original elevator rear and blade front sights. 99% plus early mirror blue finish. 99% case colors on lever and hammer. Even has most of the case hardening on the butt plate. The finest case colors we have seen on any Model 1892. Stock and forend with nearly all the original finish with a thumbprint size spot of darkening on the left side of butt. Perfect working order. Really superb example.
