Offered for your consideration is this beautiful, High Condition Model 1884 U.S. Springfield with excellent, factory sharp SWP/1889 inspector's cartouche. The 32.5 inch barrel with Buffington rear sight retains 92%+ blue, the bore is as new, sharp and bright. The breechblock and tang retain strong case colors. The receiver looks near new with no use wear evident. The script "P" and "j" cartouches aft of the trigger guard are sharp and unmarred. The stock is excellent with original finish. It has accumulated minor handling marks over the years but nothing I would note as significant. Overall a rare and beautiful high condition U.S. Springfield that would certainly enhance your collection.
