Description:
S# A329, 32-40 , 26 inch barrel, bright excellent bore. This rifle was built around 1905 as a half octagon 32 special. It was rebuilt in 2013 by Brad bachelder of Grand Rapids, M1 and is now in excellent condition with 99% finish. A new-old-stock original Marlin Grade B (for black powder) barrel was installed as well as new breech block, firing pins, extractor, ejector and mag spring. The metal was bead blasted and blued leving a matte finish. New wood was fitted and finished in light oil. A marbles brass bead front sight and tang sight (with 3 apertures) were installed with a filler in rear barrel slot. This produced an attractive half magazine cast bullet rifle with great balance and practical matte finish. The rebuilding records are available and tang sight box and instructions are included.
