Description:
S# F24007, 32 S&W, 3 inch barrel, good bore with strong rifling and an area of erosion at breech end. This revolver was built in 1899. This revolver was built using a conger barrel as barrel markings are polished off to make room for front sight. The front sight is installed slightly off center. Bill Goforth's book on page 50 mentions barrels of cycle models with polished off markings for front sight. The nickel matches frame, muzzle is correct, this may be original. Revolver retains 95% nickel with most wear on gripstraps. The trigger guard shows 80% blue. Hammer and trigger still show 85% case colors. Grips are unnumbered and fit well with light wear. An interesting little Iver Johnson. FFL or C&R.
