Description:
SN 198173 bright, excellent bore is found on a M&P 1905 3rd change revolver. Cal .38 Special 6" barrel. This piece shows 90 to 93% bright original blue. Most loss is flaking on the straps and the rear of the frame. This revolver rides in an original Heiser holster which appears to be contemporary with the revolver. This piece is mounted with stag grips. The stags were built by Pointer Products of Montobello CA and are in very nice condition. The grips have an oversize bi-lateral palm swelling which is quite comfortable for mid size hand. The revolver was built in the 1909-15 era. A very nice example of a high polish S&W rig with lots of finish and a classic holster included. FFL or C&R
