Background -
A few decades ago, I shot some Bulls Eye pistol. I enjoyed collecting the guns, probably more than shooting. I owned dozens of custom guns - Giles, Chow, Clark, Pachmayr, Government Armorer Built, etc. I always liked the Giles guns best.
I acquired a "Set" of Giles Custom Match pistols - consisting of a High Standard .22, Colt 38 Wad Cutter, and Colt .45 Wad Cutter - from a shop in Florida. The shop owner told me, the guns were being sold for an estate. All three guns came in together. Each gun had one magazine. The magazines are not marked for the guns.
The three guns are in Excellent Condition, and the condition is consistent from gun to gun. They look like they might have been together since being built in the early to mid 1960s. The guns appear to have been used, but well cared for. No rub marks on the sides from pistol box. The condition of the 45 gun is slightly better than the 38. Both guns are 95+% with some wear on the back of the grip and mainspring housing. They show some minor handling marks, as you would expect from working guns. The original Colt finish is in great shape, for these type working guns. The slides are tight on the frames.
