Description:
This is a Winchester Model 90 slide-action rifle chambered for .22 Short. These style rifles were popular " back in the day" when public shooting galleries were common at summer county fairs.Condition: Metal shows expected use marks, barrel has many handling and wear marks, with dings and nicks in both barrel and receiver; the magazine tube is straight, no bends or creases; curved buttplate is very good, fits tightly and no dents; Wood is nicely figured beneath a finish that is showing some crackling; there are expected scratches, dents and a few gouges in the stock and forestock; no cracks and wood fits tightly. The Model 90 was the first slide-action rifle poduced by Winchester and was a J.M. Browning patent.
