US Cavalry Barracks Hanger for the US Martial Colt Single Action Army Revolver - REPRODUCTION. Used by US Cavalry troops in the early West to hang their service revolver to their bunk or nearby bracket so they could get the sidearm into action quickly if needed. The originals are extremely rare, very few ever issued and even fewer survived the years.and if found can go for as high as $800. This is an exact reproduction of the original is terms of size, materials, and design and has been so carefully crafted and aged that it is nearly impossible to differentiate from the original. An outstanding example of a very rare US Cavalry Colt accessory that is a must for any serious Martial Colt collector. Includes a copy of page 338 - "A Study of the Colt Single Action Army Revolver" mentioning it as an accessory.
