28" half oct bbl. Cal 38 Maynard. Orig circassian style wood is in excellent cond with pistol grip and a cheek piece. Very nicely grained strikingly looking wood. Sharp checkering. Globe front sight. Lyman tang rear sight. Near excellent bore. Mechanical cond excellent also. The engraving is a light delicate pattern with some blossoming florals and a motif with a covey of quail in the center. Nicely done. The other side has a deer running through the forest. A very unusual pattern and I'm unsure who the engraver is. It wouldn't surprise me if it was Nimschke. His work will surprise you. It's often hard to identify. Gun is very nice with about 90% orig dull blue turning plum. A nickel color receiver with just traces of case colors. A sharp looking gun!
