Description:
Very nice sharp bore. Correct walnut grips show a fair amount of use with a chip out of the toe. 3-line patent dates. Marked on the left hand of the trigger guard is "44 CF". On the bottom of the bbl is marked "44" and underneath the ejector housing is the last digits of the serial number. The cylinder has the last digits of the serial number also. Gun is in the 100k serial range. Comes with a Factory Letter stating the caliber, 7-1/2", blued and shipped to Chicago Illinois with 2 other guns. This gun has several screws that have been re-plated on the side of the frame. The cylinder pin I think has been replaced as has the cylinder screw. The hammer appears to have been replaced but I'm not absolutely sure. Other than that it's not a bad early black powder SA.
