Igoe AO 136707 who started his career at Plattsburg, New York the site of the National Army's Officer Candidate School in 1917. This camp established in 1911 held courses for prospective officers intermittently until the entry of the United States in the war in Europe.  Lt. The pistol comes with his retirement Certificate a letter from Colt to his son (Harold) documenting the gun, also included is his named WWII USAAF Type E1 Bombardier’s Canvas Case.  The overall condition of this pistol and grouping is very good - very good plus plus.  Inv.: # 1-1241
