Description:
Model 521-T "Junior Special" bolt action rifle. The Model 521-T was originally developed for use by junior shooters and groups such as the Boy Scouts, 4-H, junior rifle clubs and the like. Similar in appearance to the larger Model 513T, it was lighter in weight and less expensive. It wears a 25-inch tapered barrel and is fitted with a Lyman 57RS receiver sight and a globe style front sight. It has a walnut pistol grip stock with beavertail forend. The stock has factory swivels, the front swivel adjustable. The rifle is in great condition with about 95% original blue finish remaining. There is pinprick oxidation on the metal. The stock is also in fine shape with a few minor handling marks and a small chip repair next to the rear sight. The rifle appear to be in good working order and the bore is excellent.
