This is a pre-owned Colt Model 1911 WWI 2nd Battle of the Marne Commemorative in .45 ACP with a 5" barrel. This is one of 7400 made in 1969 by Colt to commemorate the 50 years since the battle. It features a high gloss blue finish with gold colored inlay. It comes with the wooden presentation case and descriptive panel. The pistol is in very good condition, it has been in the display case for so long that a very small amount of the felt pad has become adhered to the right side of the grips. The display case is intact but does have some scratches.
