This is a S & W, Double Action, .44-40 FRONTIER Revolver, Nickel, Manufactured Prior to 1900, based on the Two Line Patent Marking on Barrel. Hard Rubber Grips, Overall Nickel would be considered Very Good, Mechanically Good, Strong Rifling, with some Pitting, But bore highly Reflective. Serial Number is 14033, Only 15,340 Made.
Six Inch Barrel, Top Break. This was the sucessor to the Schofield and Russian Models.
