Description:
A BSA conversion to cartridge loading using the Enfield musket with an 1857 Enfield lock. This is a MKII** conversion which was introduced in 1867. The right stock has a rondel reading "R Crown M/E/Crown/24/Enfield/1". The hammer has a cupped face. The bore grades bright, very good with a few pits and some very light frosting. All metal is a gray/brown. A sound old Canadian issue Snider. Antique
