Description:
Sporting rifle with a 30" heavy bbl measuring almost 1" at the muzzle. Cal 44 WCF. The oct bbl is a speckled silver/brown. Receiver also has a very aged patina. Strong rifling and some roughness in the bore. Buttstock is in good overall cond for it's age. A few hairline cracks coming off the frame. Some oil has been rubbed into it over the years. Forearm is also pretty nice. A little shy at the forearm cap. No visible cracks or losses. Sights on this gun are some sort of old Frontier gunsmith adaptation. Front sight looks like it probably was a coin that was fitted to be a blade sight. A good solid old gun.
