Description:
This is a Research Armament Prototypes Model 500 in .50 Caliber BMG. This hefty rifle has a single shot receiver, featuring a bolt with 3 massive lugs, and a shellholder style bolt, where rounds are loaded one at a time into the bolt, then placed into the receiver. The receiver is machined from a solid piece of steel, and is parkerized. The receiver has some light scratches on it, from handling, wear, and use. The barrel is fluted, and is equipped with a two chamber muzzle brake to help tame the recoil of the .50 BMG. The barrel has a parkerized finish, showing some wear near the barrel shank where it meets the receiver. The buttstock is made of metal and synthetic material, with an adjustable cheek rest. This rifle comes with a bipod that is built into the forearm, and a scope mount and rings.
