This rifle appears to have built off a Colt SP1 lower receiver, with the only Colt part being the lower receiver. The buttstock, A2 upper receiver, barrel assembly, Bolt Carrier Group, Handguards, and Buffer Tube are all of an unknown make. The upper receiver and barrel assembly have a dark black, possibly painted finish. The barrel is marked "SS 5.56
