Syracuse Arms Co. 12 Ga. Shotgun FOR PARTS ONLY! The gun is very nice looking for a gun thats over 100 years old. But inside the receiver..well that's another story. I'm not an expert at all, but this gun cannot be shot.
Here are the good parts, the stock and forend are in very good shape with the exception of a amall chip on the ebony/bone forend tip. The butt plate is original hard rubber in good condition. The barrels have a very nice strong twist pattern and are in nice shape. The interior of both barrels is great with very little pitting. They are 32" in length and the chokes are extra full and full.
Since Syracuse was in business for roughly 10 years, from 1895 to 1905, I cannot verify it's an antique. It does qualify for curio or must go to an FFL.
