Description:
This fine London built Joseph Manton shotgun has been converted from Flintlock to Percussion. The 27 Inch barrels have been re-browned and are minty inside and out. The one piece stock is in outstanding condition and may be the original factory stock. We have no way of knowing. The action/locks are in excellent working condition and the engraving is clear and crisp. Charles Lancaster, William Moore, Thomas Boss and James Purdey all worked for Manton.  As James Purdey later admitted: ‘‘but for him we should all have been a parcel of blacksmiths’’. This shotgun is in great condition and is ready for your next hunt.
