Description:
A good looking antique rifle. This has oct bbl, full mag and crescent butt. 60k serial range. Has a nice aged looked with most metal being an antique brown patina. Wood is above average for an early 73. VG cond. Nice fitting. Very light shrinkage at the toe. All four corners are good. No visible cracks or losses. Forearm is also above average with just normal dings and scratches. It does not have the typical crack from the forearm crack. Everything is there. Blade front sight and an orig slightly modified rear sight. Good working action. Bore is fair to good. Some roughness throughout and some light pitting. Good rifling. This old Winchester has all the stuff you want and in 44 cal. Fairly priced.
