This COLT factory blue HEAVY BARRE DETECTIVE SPECIAL is about 99%, and looks clean, almost unfired,. This is an all steel frame. Has a 2" barrel with a mint bore, and the American walnut checkered grips with the gold Colt medallions are excellent condition, with sharp edges, and no wear..Timing and lock up are excellent, and has a no visible drag line. This later model with heavy shrouded barrel is about as good as can be found. From a /collection of Colts this fine gun would be a center piece of any Colt Small frame carry collection.
