Project gun// “1903 Sporter” with the following components: Original NRA sporter stock for a high power rifle. Stock has two recoil cross bolts and the correct butt plate and barrel band (at least a 600 value), a correct Lyman 48 peep sight, and a high serial numbered Rock Island action. SN 313XXX. . ( 285000 was where the Rock Island actions had the new manufacturing process). The action comes with proper bottom metal and a NS bolt from a NM rifle. The action has a HS-44 barrel with a decent bore, but you can barrel this into a 35 Whelen or a 7x57, or even a 220 Swift!! My plan was to go with the Swift and then put a Unertl 10X on top of it using target blocks. Buffalo arms has the blocks and Montana Arms has the scopes. All of this is ready for the gunsmith to use in building you a classic fun gun. Credit cards add 3%, we offer a 3 day non-firing inspection period. Must ship to an FFL and shipping is $40.
