Description:
What a wonderful English hammer gun. Near if not Purdey quality with even more features than most Purdey\'s. First the most noteworthy is instead of the more common double under bite you will see in the picture that it actually has three bites on the lump. If your into this the way I am that is so just so cool! The forend latch is a pullback style I have never seen. Very similar to a WC Scott style but not. It is very elegant. The engraving is top notch and the lock plates retain much case color. The gun has very nice clean bores. This maker is listed in Nigel Browns book London Gun makers but sadly, provides no history. This all makes up a gun that is of exceptional quality and unique features in wonderful condition at a price a fraction of what a famous English maker gun would cost.
