Description:
High-Standard semi-auto rifle with a 24" barrel, and clean shiny micro groove bore. Action works good, and the American walnut wood is good, and has aggressive crotch grain at the back of the stock, and with a few small field dings. Finish is about 85% blue, some age freckling and the frame color of black is also very good.This tube feed model is a fast shooter. This model called J.C. HIGGINS MODEL 31.With most of production was sold through SEARS! and called Model 31 J.C. HIGGINS.This is for the .22lr or 22long only, even though the barrel states it will feed the .22 short it may be underpowered to work the action on a tight gun!Has both sights and the top rail has grooves for scope mount,.
