This antique revolver locks up tight at top-strap.It also works fine in single & double action. And cylinder lock up is quite decent for a piece made in the 1880's ; no excessive loosness.Bore has light pitting without the excessive deep pitting, often found in this period revolver.Chambers are not bad at all. It doses have an old period renickel, but lines are straight and top-strap is readable.Grips fit great and are excellent.Probably replaced when renickled.This piece was made for black powder cartridges. Sold as a collector's item. If intending to shoot, one should have checked out by gunsmith and use black powder cartridges. This is is antique and can be sold to someone 21 years of age.Also, there a few cities and states where even an antique must be shipped to an F.F.L.
