Weighing in at only 2 pounds 9 oz the No.51 is a very diminutive bolt action 22. It is chambered for long, short and long rifle. Many of the small 22's of the day got the term "Boys Rifle" tagged to them. This one certainly would fit that description. Gun is in relatively good shape with most blue remaining. There is some light rust freckling throughout the metal but good blue. The stock itself is VG with just one exception. There is some very old friction tape in the wrist area. Everything is solid. What is under the tape?? Hamilton's have quite a following and are a good collectable little gun for not a lot of money.
