Description:
Winchester pre 64 model 42 Pigeon grade.Built in 1953,this gun has the round post donut base vent rib.It has a 26" barrel choked skeet.The stock is a straight grip with highly figured wood and fine checkering.The gun is engraved in the #5 pattern and signed by J.L.Salerno,who was an engraver for Winchester.It is possible that the engraving is aftermarket since factory guns were not signed.The gun is in as new condition retaining 100% blue and wood finish.Stock dimensions are 14" x 11/2" x 21/2".A classic 42 skeet.C&R eligible.
