Description:
Early Smith and Wesson .38 SA First Model "Baby Russian" Revolver - Cal. .38 S&W - 4" Bbl. - 5 shot - SN 7153 (1876). Bore is excellent, bright and shiny with sharp rifling and only a couple of spots of very light roughness - action is excellent with perfect timing, lock up, and ejection. Metal is excellent with 98 % original factory nickel, sharp markings and no rust, pits, or corrosion. Grips are excellent and undamaged with with sharp checkering and logo and no signs of wear. The "baby Russian" was a very popular back-up and pocket revolver in the early West and is rel;atively scarce, being made only 2 years. This "Baby Russian" is all original and in EXCELLENT or better condition, showing little use, no wear and will make an outstanding collectible.
