Description:
Austrian full custom built on a Mannlicher-Schonauer 1930 System action in 6.5x54MS and proved in 1949. 18" barrel with single standing rear sight and ramp front sight. Excellent bore. Claw mounted Kahles 4X scope with scoll engraved bases. Butterknife bolt handle. Double set triggers. Fully engraved French Silver floorplate with stag, floral, and scroll. Engaved French Silver trigger guard with monogram "GS". Pistol grip Mannlicher buttstock with Bavarian cheekpiece. 14 1/8" LOP to hard buttplate. 7lb 8oz with scope. This is an outstanding piece in excellent original condition retaining 99% original blue and 95% checkering and stock finish with slight handling marks. The engraving is of the highest quality and it is chambered in an excellent and popular caliber. This piece is "uber cool". I don't know where it has been for the past 64 years but it shows minimal use.
