SOLD PENDING FUNDS, James Woodward & Sons 12 gauge Left Hand, “The Automatic,” Best SLNE, 12 gauge, 2-1/2” chambers, sleeved 27” barrels, IC/M, 14-1/4” LOP to front trigger, 1-3/4” DAC, 2-1/2” DAH, approximately 1/8” cast on for left hand (stock was built cast off and bent cast on and would be a good candidate for stock bending back to its original cast.) This early James Woodward sidelock is tight on face with minor handling marks to wood, and is absent engraving on rib. It has magnificent fences, wood, and engraving and comes with quality leather case. Purdey records show that it was built prior to 1898 and as an antique can be sent directly to the buyer. Subject to 3 day non-shooting inspection and may be returned if gun is different from how it is pictured or described. . $5700 plus $75 postage and insurance.
