Description:
24" Krieger tapered octagon barrel with recessed crown, gold-banded at breech and muzzle. Highly figured, dark, oil-finished Turkish walnut stock with ebony forend tip, inletted and pedestalled swivel bases, twin engraved recoil crossbolts, fine wrap-around classic point-pattern checkering with mullered borders, casehardened steel skeleton pistol grip cap, beaded cheekpiece, gold oval and Silvers red rubber recoil pad. Winchester Model 70 controlled-feed action with jeweled bolt, checkered and casehardened solid bolt stop, fire-blued claw extractor, four-panel gold-highlighted bolt knob with engraved rosette, and Blackburn hinged straddle floorplate with release inside the triggerguard. Leupold VX-III 3.5-10x40mm matte-finish scope with fine duplex reticle on thin-walled one-piece fire-blued S&K rings on casehardened sculptured custom bases. Pull: 14 1/8". Weight: 8lbs, 11oz. Extensively engraved by Jerome Glimm with scroll on action bases, rings, grip cap, bottom metal and with a raised-gold-inlaid whitetail buck on the floorplate. Little used.
