29 1/2" O/U matted vent-rib barrels with white front bead and steel middle bead, ventilated side ribs and interchangeable choke tubes. Two buttstocks of highly figured walnut with Deeley-release field forend, full pistol grips, and classic point-pattern checkering. Stock #1 by Cole of Harpswell, Maine: 14 1/2"pull to maker's thin black recoil pad. 1 3/8" - 1 7/8"drop, trace of cast-on and left-hand palmswell. Stock #2 by Mike Lupold, S&S Plus of Poulson, Montana: 12 7/8"pull to black Decelerator recoil pad, 1 1/2" - 2 1/8" - 3" drop on Monte Carlo comb, 3/8" cast-off and right-hand palmswell. Coin-finished action with full coverage, very fine scroll engraving accented with rose bouquets, a gold-inlaid woodcock on the left and a gold-inlaid grouse on the right, and with removable action group, adjustable-position single-selective trigger, manual top tang safety incorporating barrel selector, hold-open toplever, and automatic ejectors. Weight: 7lbs, 4oz with Cole buttstock; 7lbs, 5oz with S&S buttstock. Built 2009. In maker's original hard case with papers and a total of five choke tubes.
