WW2 ROCK ISLAND U.S. MODEL 1903 RIFLE REBUILD RIFLE DATED 1939. .30-06 cal. Springfield Armory rebuild dated on barrel “5-39” and with Springfield “S-A/ORDNANCE BOMB” stamp above it. Refurbished for war they knew was coming. Fine and all original overall with 98% parkerized finish. Nice marking on the receiver including a rebuild “dot” stamp prefix before the serial number. “C” stock with Springfield cartouche. Stock shows light wear and a small glued hairline at the pistol grip. Fine working order and near mint, bright bore.
