*** Reduced Price *** For sale is a Winchester Model 1866 Nickel Factory Engraved Saddle Ring Carbine. This carbine features a 20-inch barrel that is chambered in 44 Rimfire, walnut stock, carbine sight, and a carbine buttplate. The carbine was shipped to the warehouse on January 24,1877 and was changed to nickel & engraved. It was shipped out on March 24, 1877. The nickel finish covers the entire rifle including the sight, barrel bands, buttplate and is mostly present on the receiver with some loss on the barrel & magazine tube. The bore is somewhat dark but shows rifling throughout with no heavy pitting or build-up. There is a factory letter that will accompany this carbine.
