Description:
This is a choice 28 bore; It has the desired round grip, long tang configuration. No salt. Nice wood for Grade ! Medium light wood 1 3/8 at comb, 2 3/8" at heel, 14 1/4" to Browning buttplate. There is very slight crazing in stock and forearm, a problem with most of Browning's finishes of this era. I see no scratches on the wood. Bluing shows no wear, even in front of the forearm. Barrels are 28" SK/SK. .003 lower bbl; 005 upper. Very stiff to open. A friend examined the gun and pronounced it "virtually new." There aren't many of these left around.
