Holland & Holland Royal Ejector, best quality rifle from this famed London maker, circa 1909, .500/465, 3 1/4", proper 75 gr. Cordite and 480 gr. bullet proof, 26" barrels with quarter rib and one standing and two folding rear sight leaves, island ramp front sight with flip up low light ivory bead, also a rare original adjustable flip-up peep set into long top tang extension, barrels engraved "Holland & Holland, 98 New Bond Street, London" and "Winners of All The "Field" Rifle Trials, London", 11 lbs. 1 oz., 14 9/16" LOP over a leather pad, ejectors, cocking indicators, Purdey hidden third bite, vacant gold oval, double triggers, pistol grip with a trap door engraved grip cap, splinter forend, beautiful typical Holland style engraving that remains very sharp, disc set strikers, hand detachable locks, articulated front trigger, beautiful 90% case colors, drop points, long top tang extension strap, beautiful replacement highly figured butt with cheek piece, cased in a relined period leather case with maker's label and original charge card also indicating additional tropical charge, case with Holland oil bottle, snap caps, striker case, key, and pull-through pouch.  Rifle is in excellent, well maintained condition with excellent finishes, action is tight and on face, rifling in bores is sharp and distinct with only a hint of frosting.  Case is in very good condition with one side of handle detached.  Rifle shoots very well with several different hand load targets photographed below and provided.
