The Brady Company started in 1887 making leather gun cases in Birmingham England. The Brady Company continues today under different ownership making fine sporting leather goods but I can not find that new gun cases of this type are produced today. From my research, I believe leather cases of this type were discontinued around 1980 to 1990 when the company was sold. I do not know the age of this case ( but it looks remarkable and was well cared for showing only minor signs of use on the leather and inside lining. It is a beautiful survivor with fine brass corners, lock, and yes even the key. Brady produced cases for Purdey, Holland & Holland and many of the finest bespoke gunmakers in England and Scotland. This case housed a Purdey and contains a leather Purdey label. It was made to protect and showoff a fine doublegun with barrel length to 30". There are 12 gauge snap caps in the case. There may be others like it but this is the real one and in fantastic condition. Domestic Shipping $25.00. Email for International Shipping Quote SOLD |
