Description:
This is a take down rifle in cal 30-30. Oct bbl and full length mag tube. Lyman flip up tang sight, 2-leaf fold down bbl sight and adjustable windage front sight. Wood is carved in a C pattern. Checkered pistol grip. Butt stock and forearm are in excellent cond. Stock has rifle style butt plate. Overall metal is smooth and clean with bbl retaining about 95% bright shiny blue. Mag tube is about 90%. Receiver has clean smooth metal with some case colors remaining and the balance turning an aged silver. Engraving is sharp, clear and precise. Pattern 5-1 featuring a tiger on one side and a Labrador on the other. This engraving is a deeper relief style and more elaborate than normally seen. Marlin are fine guns, this is fine and beautiful!
