Jeffery Built in 2007 on a Modern Single Square Bridge Magnum Mauser Action, 23" barrel, Profiled 1/4 Rib with 1 fixed standing & 2 folding rear sights with a gold sight line, Barrel band sling eye, Barrel band front ramp with a locking sight protector, 3-position Model 70 style wing safety, Heavy duty belly magazine with a straddle hinged floorplate with a center bow release, Excellent trigger with an entire matted face on the trigger face, All metal is well polished, A classic stock using a very nice piece of Walnut, A large European style cheekpiece with a shadowline, Wrap around checkering, A cross bolt at the recoil lug, 2 screw tiedown rear sling eye, A very neat trapdoor grip cap with a spare front sight with a night sight, .500 in Gold on the grip cap, 11 lbs. 1 oz., 14 15/16" LOP over a 3/4" pad, It will go 15 3/16" with a 1" pad, Slight cast-Off for the right hand, It comes to the hand with ease for a big bore and the sights are dead-on, Matting on the receiver single square bridge, Matting and stippling on the quarter rib, There are no apologies with this English Classic from London, Overall this piece remains in 98% condition, It feels and looks like a real Big Bore bolt rifle that is ready for some very serious work.
