The Krieghoff K80 has become the most popular competition gun in the United States. The receiver on the K80 is CNC machined from solid forged steel, then meticulously hand fit and finished by the best of German gunmakers. Krieghoff makes the K80 12ga. gun in many models, differing mostly in the amount of decoration, the action being the same on there least or most expensive guns. The Bavaria Suhl is a custom order gun that has 100% full coverage deep relief engraving with game scenes, scroll, and mythical characters, all done by hand. In the year 2000 Krieghoff came out with the K20, a smaller framed 20ga. version of the K80, with all of its best features. This gun, sn001717 is a gorgeous COMPETITION SET, with 20ga., 28ga., and .410 bore 32" barrels all fitted to the same frame and balanced just so. This is the perfect set up for skeet competitions, with the 12 and 20ga. event being shot with the 20ga. barrels, and the other two sets for the 28ga. and .410 events. The gun swings and balances the same with all three sets of barrels. The custom stock is by Tom Smith, a noted stock maker for competition shotguns costing nearly $6500 to produce. With exhibition burl figured Circassian walnut and laid out perfectly for volume shooting, flor-de-lis checkering, and right hand palm swell, it is a work of art and stunning beauty. There are few guns like this offered for sale, and the gun is as new, with the lever way right of center. The gun is cased in an Americase that is made for the set, with all of the paperwork, tools, and accessories. There are 18 screw in chokes in all, some of them the Krieghoff titanium chokes. This is a gun that would take a year or more to order and cost over $37,000 with the upgraded wood, so with our price you can start out with equity in a fine Sporting Model K20.
