Colt Model 1911 Ser W72250; shipped to London Armory Company Dec. 3, 1916 (per Goddard p. 261); the 1911’s with ‘W’ prefix were commercial models in 455 cal.; this is one of the better known examples with most of the original commercial blue finish remaining; 100% correct and original including ‘455 Eley’ marked magazine; note, markings on left side of slide were made with roll die, which was damaged (correct) ‘Released British Gout 1952’ o slide above serial no.; nice original grips; good, strong action and bore; FFL/C&R required for shipping;All items shipped fully insured- Hand guns $30 shipped Priority-Long guns $35 shipped Ground; (Texas residents please add 6.75% sales tax); return policy: three days inspection from the date the item is received; full refund of shipping both ways ONLY IF THE ITEM IS MISREPRESENTED.
