Ruger discontinued this model in 1992, and they are becoming hard to find. This old model has the rear tang safety, much like manyu shotguns, and is much quicker to use than the new style safety on the Mark II series. It has a 24 inch heavy barrel and is in excellent original condition with a perfect bore, 98% blue, and a few minor bruses in the walnut stock. Mounted in the Ruger rings is a Simmons 4x12x40 scope, Model 1014. If you are looking for a good long range varmit rifle, this is it. PRICE: $595 2% discount for cash or check payment.
