Both the rifle and the carbine are chamber in .44 wcf (.44-40. The rifle features a 24" octagon barrel, full length mag tube, semi buck horn rear sight. The carbine features a 20 round barrel, forend barrel band, carbine rear folding latter sight. The artist combined differnt patterns to give both firarm a Winchester style engraving look. Both of them have the same layout with the rifle having deep releaf back ground and a larger amount of scroll work on the barrel. This being at both ends of the rear sight and at the muzzle as well, were the carbin has a small amout on the barrel between the action and rear sight. These two 73s are un-fired and as new, our customer stated that he bought them from a dealer back in the 80s and they did not have factory boxes. SOLD |
