Description:
Some confusion on the name of these. Some times called S & W 38 single action second model revolver or also model 2 second issue. These were built from the mid 1870's to early 1890's. They were chambered for the center fire S & W cartridge. This one is a little unusual with it's 6" bbl. Most finish remains. Front sight is a custom "old gunsmith" sight. Mother of Pearl grips with just a couple of light chips out. Hinge pin, action and bore are all very good. Unique gun that comes with an old holster.
