Description:
Cal 45-70. This is one of the conversions that was done by Sharps Rifle Co and is so stated on the bbl. Also has the marking "Old Reliable". 28" oct bbl with Lawrence rear sight and Rocky Mtn blade front sight. This gun has a lot of Western flare and has seen some heavy use. The forearm is deeply worn but most is still there. A chip missing towards the Schnable forearm tip on the left and a crack or two. Heavily worn but full of character. Pretty cool! The buttstock has also seen a lot of use but not as bad. One piece missing by the lock plate. Lots of dents and dings and a couple of light cracks but pretty much intact. This one would look great above your fieldstone fireplace or in the den!
