Caliber Info: 8.15x46R
Metal Condition: Fair to good overall considering the rifle's age. There are some small dings in the surfaces of barrel and receiver. The bluing on the edges of the octagon barrel are fading to the white and there is some light rust freckling on the receiver. There is so
Wood Condition: The wood at some point was sanded and a good lacquer or hand rubbed oil based finish applied. A very good job by someone who knew what they were doing. The forend and butt-stock have both been checkered by a very good practitioner!
Bore Condition: The bore is amazing, it is very clean and very bright and shiny with no corrosion. The lands and grooves are very strong and sharp. And no, it does not have a barrel insert.

Stock: Walnut, pistol grip with checkering.
