I believe that this is one of the guns that were converted to sporting rifles by the Meacham Arms Co. for frontier use in the 1880's. This is the finest I have ever seen with 99% plus vivid orig case colors and bright vivid blue All orig 30 heavy weight octagon BBL. Checkered wood is like new. The finest in the country.
