Description:
Here is a very nice Standard 1894 Rifle manufactured in 1906. It is fitted with a 26 inch full round barrel, full tube magazine, straight grip stock and steel crescent butt-plate, color case-hardened hammer and lever, and is chambered in one of the original calibers the 1894 was introduced in, the great old black powder 38-55 cartridge. This gun would rate about 75 to 80%, with 65%+ of blue on the receiver, about 85% blue on the barrel, and most of the blue is still on the magazine tube. The stock and forearms have not been sanded and retain lots of their original finish, with some assorted handling marks and dings. Just faint traces of colr case-hardening on the hammer and lever. The bore is bright, with sharp rifling, and the action is tight and functions perfectly. Appears to having been well cared for, and shot little. Rear sight is original to the gun, the front is a ivory bead Marbles replacement. PRICE: $2,050 2% discount for cash or check payment.
