This is a Richard's conversion in cal 44 Colt CF. Metal is grey/silver color, smooth and has been cleaned. Frame markings are still visible. Some pitting to the frame and loading gate on the right hand side. Also light pitting on the left side of the frame. Replacement grips. Action does work. But indexing is off slightly. Early serial number at just over 4k. A decent old gun for not a lot of money.
